Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Saki Wilcox is known for her energetic leadership style and has a track record of developing high performance teams focused on driving operational excellence and business growth.
Ms. Wilcox has over 25 years of experience working in commercial and defense industries. Before founding MIA Solutions, Ms. Wilcox was a research scientist with Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Labs where she oversaw research and development projects for DARPA, IARPA, U.S. Army, and U.S. Navy.
Ms. Wilcox holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Brown University and a master’s degree in computer engineering from Syracuse University.
Dr. Cortney Bolden
Co-Founder and Chief Research Scientist
Dr. Cortney Bolden is known for her ability to effectively convey extremely complicated engineering problems and scientific concepts in the most simplistic manner to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Dr. Bolden has over 15 years of experience working on innovative research in intelligent control and autonomous systems. She formerly worked as a senior research scientist with Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Labs where she developed models, simulations and controls for several unmanned aerial and mobile platforms. She also oversaw research and development projects for DARPA, U. S. Army, and several U. S. Air Force Research Laboratories.
Dr. Bolden received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern University and A&M College. She also obtained Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University.
